ENERGY PEN 2008

For the third time already the Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association presented its "Energy Pen" awards. The competition is aimed to recognise journalists who provide regular and reliable coverage of issues related to electrical power engineering. Journalists are nominated for the "Energy Pen" award by PR staff of energy sector companies, or employees responsible for media relations. The awards are presented to journalists for their overall achievements relating to the Polish electrical power engineering sector.

Medal of the President of the Polish Electrical Engineers Association

The competition jury decided to award the Medal of the President of the Polish Electrical Engineers Association to
ELESTER PKP Sp. z o.o. from Łódź for the " CZAT Integrated electronic system for energy plant servicing" exhibited at EXPOPOWER 2008.

Recommendations of the Polish Electrical Engineers Association (SEP)

Basing on extensive test results, the Polish Electrical Engineers Association issues SEP Recommendations to selected products and services. Four companies were honoured this way during this year's EXPOPOWER award ceremony:

Strunobet-Migacz Sp.z o.o. from Włoszczowa for reinforced concrete support poles for pole mounted transformer stations
